The Afflictions of TIME
Many are the afflictions of the righteous. How many times, have WE complained about something??? How many TIMES have we FOUGHT for our OWN way. As IF, God did not or does not KNOW ALL, that’s how we act. BUT, THAT is a LIE. GOD IS SOVEREIGN. This means there is nothing, that takes place, or is planned, that He is not privy to. When conflict gets out of HAND it usually has simple reason why. The reason why is, that OUR idea or picture, is superseding HIS.
Just a few days ago, He spoke this title to me. In my spirit, I thought, “THIS is gonna be good.” But, my flesh, sure has been fighting the process, it seems. But God. Let’s look at the definition of AFFLICTION.
An affliction makes you suffer, but you have to deal with it anyway. Diseases are often said to be afflictions, but the word can mean just about anything that causes great suffering.
The word afflict, which makes up the first part of the word, means to cause this type of trouble. “Tom liked to afflict pain on his brother. His brother considered Tom just one more affliction he had to bear.” The word can also be used as an exaggeration of something that isn’t so bad––”Homework is often seen as an affliction by students and parents alike.”
Psalm 34Amplified Bible (AMP)
The Lord, a Provider and the One Who Rescues Me.
A Psalm of David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him out, and he went away.
34 I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
The humble and downtrodden will hear it and rejoice.
O [a]magnify the Lord with me,
And let us lift up His name together.
I sought the Lord [on the authority of His word], and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant;
Their faces will never blush in shame or confusion.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
And saved him from all his troubles.
The [b]angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience],
And He rescues [each of] them.
O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good;
How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him.
O [reverently] fear the Lord, you His saints (believers, holy ones);
For to those who fear Him there is no want.
The young lions lack [food] and grow hungry,
But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you to fear the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience].
Who is the man who desires life
And loves many days, that he may see good?
Keep your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous [those with moral courage and spiritual integrity]
And His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
When the righteous cry [for help], the Lord hears
And rescues them from all their distress and troubles.
The Lord is near to the heartbroken
And He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin).
Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous,
But the Lord rescues him from them all.
He keeps all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
Evil will cause the death of the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous will be held guilty and will be condemned.
The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

- Okay, NOW we will discuss how AFFLICTIONS and TIME collide. If an affliction, is something that creates suffering, and time is a period or unit of measure, then how do they work together? Well, when we focus on OUR time, which is froma place of pride, most often, WE open the doors for MORE afflictions to come. For example, if God leads us into a dark place, to be a light, but it is not happy. Not only that, it feels borderline tormenting and torturous. Especially, if IT is a plce we ventured out of before, and must now FACE the Giants.
You see, the promised land has giants, but giants can also be formed from OLD thought patterns too, or by us. This has been stated b4. This post was originally made, in December, on the 17th, the year 2015. The self is the worst. In our affliction with time, we often rehearse the pain. Like a performance, or such. It can be too much, for those nearby. Yet, angels anre sent to assist. You may not recognize. In fact, NEVER without HIS eyes.
But, there is no time and space in HIS world. Every boy and girl, just IS and can BE. You see? Time after time, Jesus arrives, with mop broom, bandages, and braces. He hugs and kisses every face. Perhaps you do not feel it. Because, it may NOT be REAL to you. Yet, is IS. Quite simply…proof of the LOVE. For, the afflictions of time, exist NOT, in the arms of our greatest LOVE. #JESUSHEALS
