INTENTIONAL

Today being the 8th, which is New beginnings is such a great time, to discuss this topic. Are we being intentional? Because if we are not intentionally receiving the LOVE of GOD daily, we have nothing to give. Meaning, we are like droughts that need water.  God cannot move as freely within us. Something interesting about our lives, is that when the WORD of GOD is introduced, miracles are happening. An example, is when our child has an issue, and she has her bible playing in the back ground. She wakes, the issue is gone. Glory to GOD!

You see THINGS are NOT always as they appear. God’s weapons are not of this world. He intentionally POURS out HIS LOVE upon us. So are we on purpose saying thank you? Or, are we just so affected by the spirit of entitlement or pride, that we reject it? No one likes rejection. Accepting something does not mean we like it. IT just means that we accept it. We accept feeling rejected, yet do NOT in any way, shape or FORM, except the spirit of REJECTION.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

James 5:12 ESV

But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Mark 16:1-20 ESV

When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. …

Romans 8:1 ESV

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 1:1-32 ESV

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, …

John 1:14 ESV

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Psalm 34:1-22 ESV

Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away. I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. …

1 John 5:7 ESV

For there are three that testify:

1 John 2:1-29 ESV

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him.

Hebrews 13:2 ESV

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

GOD is intentional with us….let HIM be intentional through you. We have a choice. Let’s make the best one. 🙂

Consider what JESUS did on a cross. Also, think about why He did this and for whom. The Father, our FATHER in Heaven sent His son to die for us. Not just to die simply, but to die a gruesome horrendous death. He was chosen to take on every evil that there is on HIM. We pray this really registers in a new way. That God reaches out HIS hand over your wounds to say STOP. So, that the GLORY of GOD can shine in your lives, and in ALL of ours. Because really LIFE should be about LOVE.

Do we deserve the LOVE of GOD? YES Is it because we did something to deserve it? NO This is why we deserve it, it is because HE LOVES us. So, even when our behavior does not warrant receiving it, we must. Because rejecting the LOVE of GOD is very dangerous in this season. If we are not every day being intentional, then things get way more complicated.

There are some who are intentional about causing trouble. I pray that those people still reach their destiny in HIM. Whatever it may be, that we ALL reach it. Someone said recently that, “It seems that when they get close to reaching God, He moves.” God is not moving away from us, but we can move away from HIM. We can, by making things about us for one. If we were to make things about us, wow our lives would be miserable.

In fact, we watch many people get stuck in that pit. We say this with LOVE….it will NEVER be about YOU or US. It will however ALWAYS be about GOD in YOU and in US. ~

scriptures on being Intentional ~

Is life perfect? NOPE Do we get our time table? NOPE But, is it worth it? YES Is GOD moving? YES Does HE love us? YES there is ALWAYS more GOOD than BAD. ALWAYS….

Because holy surrender is happening more and more. It does not look to us the same as it does to HIM. To us at times it can look scary, to say the least. But, the fact is GOD calls us to be crucified with HIM. This means, for HIM to use us we have to be broken before HIM and vulnerable before HIM. GOD sees us, when NO ONE else does. GOD alone sees our tears, fears, pain, etc…

Many of us have been taught to be STRONG no matter what. Here is the problem with that, it is not scriptural. GOD says, in our weakness, HE is strong. SO, how can he be if we attempt to strive and be strong ALL the time? David, me and our children God has given us feel weak a lot in this season. WE TRUST in GOD that He will sustain us, and HE always does. He uses us to minister, and sends people to us to be ministered to. Grateful, beyond words we are and humbled.

There are things GOD has had us do intentionally that baffle people. In a world where most are bound by things, and places, we live as Jesus did. Because we desire GOD to work through us more and more. Now, does it mean we will never have “nice” things again? Not necessarily, it simply means that those things did and do belong to GOD. He will restore and in abundance as He desires. WE simply must wait and praise HIM in the process. 🙂 We have nice things now, just not mas many as before, and that is so ok. IN fact, it has been VERY freeing. WE are thankful.

When we speak LIFE we get it in return, in fact the more we speak it, the more GOD moves. He is working hard on YOUR behalf. Please, receive this, and stop believing enemy lies. When we do that, believe the lies, it grieves God. He has taken me many times and shown me Heaven. Just last night He reminded me that everything we thought we “LOST” was there. GLORY TO GOD!!!!! When we are LOST He will come and find us. But, we have to WANT to be found. Cause the word says, those who lose their lives will find them.” We must be willing to die to self, in whatever way GOD desires. Meaning, we MUST lay down everything to HIM.

So, today, no matter what your circumstances, make a covenant with GOD to speak LIFE, that HE will use you and heal you in process as HE moves. There is enough death spoken. YOU have authority in HIM to change the world. HE does it through us….let HIM move, unrestricted, INTENTIONALLY. ~

God may not share HIS GLORY, but what we must know is WE are a reflection of HIS GLORY, so we are part of it being molded and formed. YES, He gets full credit, and because HE LOVES us HE shares the LOVE with us. HALLELUJAH!!!! Oh, how GOD LOVES HIS COGS!!!!!!

In His Grace and GLORY,

E
