HOME sweet TENNESSEE
In reflection time, with God, I often just sit, with worship music on, or a sermon in the back ground. Rarely, do I sit in quiet. Though, little but little, that is changing. I realized something recently. When writing the first book, I did sit in quiet. I just let God speak. It was indeed, a beautiful time, with Him.
I would awaken at strange hours, and I would just start to type. I believe Jesus was guiding me, instructing me, through the Holy Spirit, and I know that Father, was pleased. Our Heavenly Father, is so good at fighting for His kids. It really amazes me, every single day, to notice MORE the goodness and GREATNESS as well as wonders of God.
So, as to how this entry came about. I was praying about my life, as a living sacrifice to God. I remembered when I was in my 20’s. Specifically, a time, when my grandfather Cooper passed. You see, it was near my birthday. The funeral, was actually ON it. At the time, the guy I was dating, came with me. We spent time together, at a restaurant, and later a movie. The movie, “Sweet Home Alabama,” was really cute. I liked it, and even now, still learn things from the film.
I grew up in the South. I could relate a lot to the film. In fact, now I know ways, I id not even know then. In Tennessee life was not always easy for me. Interestingly, as I have done some growing, I have observed, I was not the ONLY one struggling. I was simply, one of the more transparent ones. I used to say awful things, about where I lived. I did not appreciate, where I had been birthed. Because, then I had been BORN into pain.
In the movie, it starts out with 2 young kids, 9 years old, and maybe 11. They are just starting to wonder what LOVE is and looks like. I remember that, so well. I remember the name of my first kiss, and so forth. But, those things are not, as important to me. NOW, I recall at 9, I officially chose JESUS.
The film chronicles, the lives of the 2 kids. It shows a deep separation, and almost divorce. But God. In my life, THIS happened with Jesus. Bad seeds were planted and they pulled me into the world. The more I tasted of the world, the more I seemed to LOSE my appetite for Heaven, and HOME. The movie, is a comical example, in some ways, and a touching one in others.
I recognize now, having endured much suffering through Christ, that WE must appreciate EVERY detail. The command is to “Count it ALL Joy.” To be open to somethings, that because God leads, will work, even if they make no logical sense to us, at first. To know that HIS plans, though often VERY different than ours, do succeed.
So, today I want to BLESS my homeland, Tennessee. I met Jesus there, in many ways. The best part is, HE met ME there. 🙂 I ask Heaven to invade and the Lion of Judah to roar over this land. I bless every individual there. In the name of Jesus, and through HIS LOVE. I thank God for my family. I know they don’t always understand me. Also, that, at times, I have made it virtually impossible to love me. I ask forgiveness, from them and God. I choose to receive again, this day. I am believing for Many miracles, through THIS land and all the nations. Your will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Amen

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, …

These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him.
